About Mr. Scarson

I have been working in Fremont Unified School District for 22 years and this is my sixth year at Green Elementary School. During my time in Fremont I have spent 3 years as an elementary school assistant principal and 19 years as a classroom teacher.  As a classroom teacher I have taught every grade from 1st Grade through 5th Grade.  In addition to teaching in Fremont, I have spent eight years teaching Child Development at the college level.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and two Master’s Degrees: one in Technology and Curriculum and a second in Educational Leadership.

I am married (my wife is also a teacher) and have two wonderful children (a 19 year old daughter and a 16 year old son).  In my free time, I enjoy reading science fiction, taking scenic pictures, and working on my computer (I am a bit of a Geek).
